Pass the Hens Party Parcel
We all remember Pass the Parcel from when we were kids. This game has several variations that are perfect for a hens party or bridal shower.
Unlike the childrens version you can step it up a notch for a hens party with some risqué novelties and fun challenges such as ‘give someone a lap dance’ or sing the chorus to ‘Lady Marmalade’ between the layers.
What You’ll Need
One big prize, numerous small prizes, wrapping paper, tasks written on strips of paper and funky feel good music.
How to Play Pass the Hens Party Parcel
Before the game the main prize is wrapped with the first layer of paper and before the next layer is sealed a prize or challenge (on a strip of paper) is enclosed between the layers. This is repeated until all the prizes and challenges are hidden between the layers of paper which will be unwrapped during the game.
All the guests sit in a circle, when the music starts the parcel is passed from person to person around the circle.
The person controlling the music will have her back to the rest of the guests so she can’t see who has the parcel. When the music stops the person holding the parcel unwraps a layer and either gets a prize or is challenged to perform a dare.
If you are wanting to spice it up a bit you can give the guest the opportunity to take a shot rather than carry out the challenge.
This continues until the last layer when the person holding the parcel wins the main prize.
Pass the Brides Bouquet
Everyone stands in a circle and passes the Bouquet (can be real flowers or fake) around the circle. When the music stops (remember that the DJ shouldn’t be able to see who has the bouquet), the guest holding the bouquet is eliminated. This continues until there is one person left holding the bouquet. This person is the winner and wins a prize, or a shot.
Pass the Parcel Wedding Style
Wrap the parcel with many layers of brown paper, prizes can be included between layers. On each layer of brown paper write a question about the bride or anything wedding related. To open the next layer the answer must first be answered correctly.
Some suggestions for prizes between the layers:
- Shot glass necklace
- Buttons or badges
- Temporary tattoo
- Drink charm or wine tag
- Pecker whistles
- Pecker candy
- Pecker straws
